To support this vision, the bank is seeking a Unit Head – Compensation & Benefits (OG-I).
This is a unique opportunity for HR professionals to step into a leadership role within NBP’s regional HR operations, contributing directly to organizational efficiency and employee well-being. The role is offered on a three-year contractual basis (renewable) and comes with a competitive salary package and benefits in line with bank policies.
Job Role & Responsibilities
The Unit Head (Compensation & Benefits) will play a strategic role, reporting to the Regional HR Business Partner. Key responsibilities include:

Managing staff loans such as House Building Finance and Motor Car Finance in accordance with NBP policies.

Overseeing employee benefits including Advance House Rent, Marriage Grants, Education Stipends, and Hafiz-e-Quran Awards.

Supervising final settlements and pensions for retired, resigned, deceased, and dismissed staff.

Ensuring timely processing of medical claims, hospitalization expenses, and travel allowance (TA/DA) bills for active and retired staff.

Coordinating with branches and head office for pension claims and benefit disbursement.

Supervising SAP-related activities, generating salary reports, and monitoring arrears or recoveries.
This role is both administrative and strategic, demanding accuracy, empathy, and strong process management.
Eligibility Criteria

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (HEC recognized). Preference will be given to candidates with Bachelor’s/Master’s in HR or Public Administration.

Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably with exposure to HR Governance & HR Operations.
