University of Mirpurkhas is offering a job for Director Planning & Development (BPS-19 & 20). Candidates with MBA/B.E. Civil and 17 years’ experience may apply by September 10, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:

First class in B.E. (Civil) / MBA in relevant fields (Planning, Management, Finance).

Degree must be from an HEC recognized university/institution.
-
No third division allowed in academic career.
Experience:
-
17 years’ experience in BPS-17 or equivalent, preferably in higher education or government/semi-government/autonomous body.
OR -
10 years’ experience in BPS-17 or equivalent to BPS-17 and above in the relevant field in university/government/semi-government/autonomous body (preferably in public sector).
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans for university development.

Oversee preparation of development projects, schemes, and proposals.

Secure funding for projects from authorities.
-
Manage university’s annual work plans and cash flow.
-
Monitor and evaluate progress of development projects.
-
Liaise with government bodies, including HEC, for approvals and support.

Compile Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) and Annual Development Program (ADP).

Prepare and submit progress reports to university administration.
